Thanks for the live pics gabe. I can see bangle in the last pic w/ swag bags and the new VP. Can’t wait to go next weekend.
I like the igloo theme, but i wish the new convertible had orange in the paint selection.
Hey Mr. Burns, isnt that what we have liquid yellow for? Man I never liked that color… Ironically the first time my friend saw a liquid yellow MC he called it pi$$ yellow… So same idea : )
There was something posted about that before – that there is no room for the recessed filler on the verts so they have always had the painted cover even on the S models.

Zzzzzz.
How soon before we get any more details, or even see a Horizon Blue in the metal?
Any word on the Cabrio Diesel rumour, please?
Thanks! Enjoy!
Who is the new VPthat Alpinamike is speaking of? VP of what???
I would call the new colour, Pipi Yellow (not for me you guess)
X2 on orange.
Those black wheels are hot.

Well the configurator appears to updated on MINIUSA.com. Let the time wasting begin!
And they used ice-ish blocks?
I find this car far more attractive than the R56 hardtop. Once you take out the roof and short windows, the proportions seems to work out better.
I wonder if ride height is the same as the R56?
And no chromed gas cap on the R57 S convertible?

Yeah but that was in the R52. I t was my impression that was no longer an issue on the R57. To me the S is not complete without the chrome gas cap.
looks like it carried over to the R57 sorry to say. I like the racing look gas cap as well even if it is as phony as the hood scoop.
sorry could not tell that was Ian in the pick, thought it was peter. Nice to see the bmw guys anyway.
Hey Lav, the gas cap in the R53 is real chromed metal. In the R55/R56 is chromed plastic. 🙂
>Hey Lav, the gas cap in the R53 is real chromed metal. In the R55/R56 is chromed plastic. 🙂
They changed it for two reasons:
A – they were having issues with rust in some areas
B – to save weight

Yes, and both are gas cap covers and not the monza filler caps they are styled after.
