MINI USA has rolled out the delivery information for the MINI E and its prospective owners through a new website and a series of launch events. The idea is to allow soon to be owners to learn about the car and the technology behind it while getting acquainted with the everyday operation of the MINI E.
The package sent out simply had a Klean Kanteen and website URL for owners to register for the events. The first event will take place at the California Science Center in LA on 5.5 and will feature John Picard as the guest speaker. The next event takes place at the IAC building in NYC on the 12th of May and will feature Mark Alt.
Look for actual deliveries to happen later this month.

I think you mean ‘prospective owners.’ ;-)

Whats with the Suzuki “Mightier than the MINI” ad in the right hand column? There’s one on NAM too.

Andrew,

It is an ad. This site is paid for by ads so there they are. I am sure that Gabe did not choose to run the ad on here, it just happens.

Was there ever any communication between MINI and applicants that weren’t selected? I completed the on-line form, but haven’t heard anything since.

Alan – call your dealer. I received an email from my dealer not long ago indicating that they had a few extra.

What exactly are the prices on these again? I remember hearing the lease was out of control. Is there a buyout option at the end of the lease?

Lease is $850 per month for one year, unlimited mileage with no buyout option. Cars must be returned at the end of the lease.

As with most things that are good for us, including organic food, there is a price tag to the consumer for being green and saving the planet.
