Sit down, grab a beverage of your choice and get comfortable. In fact don’t even think about getting up any time soon. You are about to watch the single best piece of video we’ve ever seen about the Mini/MINI experience. It’s an official video MINI released to the press at MINI United. MINI basically gave a director and some crew a few months to comb the world to help tell the story of the MINI brand and its culture.
Enjoy.

An enjoyable video’s for sure. Great find

one bad ass little car, indeed.

Did they clear this title with Chuck D?

simply awesome.

Great Video!

Surely collectors videos.

nice seeing my friend Scot in the vid.

Loved every second of it. Well done chaps.

“…it doesn’t live, it doesn’t breath…it can’t post itself on Facebook, but, it does. It has a million friends!”

Now THAT’S what I’m talkin’ about!

Bit long for my limited attention span but well worth the time spent.

What a great video! Too bad it was finished before MOT and East meets west here in the USA, those are going to be epic!

Happy 50th birthday, Mini. How can you not love these cars?

Good stuff … it’s time MINI USA figured how to make and sell these videos they produce; a nice collectible :)

@Ian C.: This video was actually produced by MINI AG, not MINI USA. Todd and I both got a very nice copy, suitable for resale, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this is something that showed up in the retail sales channels sooner or later.

Thanks, DB, for the info … I’ll keep hoping 🙂
Always wanted a proper copy of MTTS2006; that didn’t happen :(

That’s a shame that was made available. I really enjoyed it as well.

This gave me Goosebumbs when I first saw it in the crowd at MINI United…and I just got all nostalgic again with Goosebumps as I watched it for the second time…I HAVE to get my hands on a copy of this!!!

DB , Ian,
Some of the dealerships still have 2006 MTTS promo in show room DVD, and for 2008 MTTS, I was in both. You Might want to try your dealers and then make copies.

-Mike

PS They should have this in BluRay form.

excellent videos. enjoyed them

That was absolutely incredible. Completely summarized how wonderful it is to be a part of the Mini/MINI “cult”. Now I’ll be out for a drive, if anybody needs me.

Well said Jack Mosher. I love that they emphasize the people, friends, experiences, etc. as the car itself (trying doing that with say, a Mustang?).

At the part where the Japanese guy says (paraphrased) “even if I stop driving a MINI, the friends I’ve made will last forever”, and they fade out the text and leave the word “forever”… I got a bit verklempt, then thought, “wait- did that just happen?” That phrase sums up my experiences perfectly.

Is there a long/full length version of this ? I’d love to buy it.
