JCW Coupe Testing on the ‘Ring and Killing Birds
MINI’s been busy on the ‘Ring lately. This time they’re back with the upcoming Coupe – in JCW flavor no less – doing final suspension testing. It’s also killing birds. Yes that’s a dead bird flying through the ‘Ring wedged in the Coupe’s grille.
Look for the JCW Coupe to debut shortly after the standard Cooper and Cooper S this fall (dead bird optional).

<p>Could just be my imagination or does the windscreen look much more upright and the roof line raised higher than the concept.</p>
<p>I think the lines are the same as the concept which means I won’t fit.</p>

<p>I like how they taped over the badge on the bonnet, Clark Kent style, so you wouldn’t know who it was.</p>
<p>Except that they left the John Cooper Works badge in full view. That’s the dead giveaway you know. ;)</p>
<p>They have to cover the badge up. Not to disguise the manufacturer. Its just done because its not a production vehicle available to the open market.</p>
<p>.Another slap to Porsche. They say their cars “Kill Bugs Fast” MINI just upped the bar with a bird killer.</p>
<p>Unfortunately the short-lived JCW coupe has been permanently shelved because of pressure exerted by PETA.</p>
