MINI continues to struggle with the sales in 2014 as they roll out their new versions of their core products.
Sales of MINI brand vehicles decreased in August with a total of 19,504 delivered to customers worldwide (prev. yr. 20,654 / -5.6%). Sales for the year-to-date, which have been affected by the MINI Hatch model-change, are down 9.0% on the same period last year (175,658 / prev. yr. 192,968).

Although the topic involves ‘Worldwide Sales Down’, is a large (majority?) part of that due to the F56 delivery hold fiasco re the EPA in the U.S. market???? In addition, sales of models like the R58, R59, & Paceman have been dismal at best going back many months!

The strength has been with the Countryman & former R56. Now that the R56 has been replaced by the F56…having those sales on hold really has to hurt the total number. At my local dealer, they have only a few F56’s available to sell while the lot has lots of ‘new’ R56 still sitting there.

No surprise here. Nobody wants an F56.

And by nobody, I assume you just mean you??? Thanks for that. Most helpful….
