We’ve got a big pile of show for you guys this week! Todd tells us about SEMA, Alex was glad we missed making a fresh show last week (one of our best shows ever in our opinion), and all of the news that’s fit to print from MotoringFile. And we _might_ make a little bit of fun of Pinterest.
Alex would like you to stop marking on his BMW with a Sharpie and go over to iTunes and leave a fresh review if you haven’t already. I would like to remind you about our Patreon page. If we can hit $100 per show, we will be sending out a stick of butter to all Patrons! And, by stick of butter, we mean a cool package of White Roof Radio stuff, and _maybe_ a stick of butter.
We also remind you guys about AMVIV. A MINI Vacation in Vegas will be happening in 2015! For those of you have been, you already know, for those that haven’t, you aren’t going to want to miss it! It’s always a great event and the new venue should be awesome!

Negative! Nail polish remover is basically just acetone, and that is very aggressive on paint. Do not use.
Rubbing alcohol will take down most marker inks and is much gentler. Also, if your clear coat is in good shape, you can probably just polish the sharpie marks off of paint.

Nice that MINI is throwing in the Sport Suspension for free with the JCW Aero Kit, but what if the consumer wants the versatility of the Dynamic Damper Control?

And does anyone know if the sport mode on the DDC is on par with the stand alone Sport Suspension?

I’m 99% sure that the JCW Exterior Pack has zero affect on the suspension. The JCW itself will come with a more aggressive standard suspension. That car will debut at NAIAS in January and online if MF this December.

December is finally getting closer for the factory JCW viewing. By the way, do you have a December date that this will happen? December has 31 days, as we all know. I anxiously await this, as this might keep me in the MINI ownership when the r59 runs out of lease.

I have confirmed that with the $2,500 JCW exterior pack, you get the aero kit, rear “sport” spoiler, 17″ track spoke wheels, white turn-signal lights AND the sport suspension becomes a no-cost option. The suspension is not directly a part of the JCW exterior pack, but it is now “included”. Otherwise, the sport suspension is a $500, stand alone, option and not part of any other package.

Pretty sure the sport suspension is not “required” but offered as a no-cost “option”. Fairly sure that it’s simply a check box for an option and you could still choose the DDC if you so desire. You’ll have to check when ordering or the online configurator should reflect the various options very soon.

Absolutely goofy looking!

Guess I won’t be getting that package if it includes the Sport Suspension. I prefer the DDC.

You can uncheck the no cost option and check DDC.
