I love the paint on the yellow Cooper S with JCW aero kit, JCW wheels, JCW brakes, CF hood scoop and LED driving lamps. What color is this and any plans on bringing this to production?

I was thinking it could have been Volcanic Orange which was altered by the metering and white balance of the photograph however another Geneva attendee on LXM posted a pic which also looked much more yellow than orange. The lighting could have affected the cameras or more than likely it is my wishful thinking that MINI will bring back a “true” yellow somewhere between liquid yellow from the R53 and mellow yellow of the R56.

I still think the convex wheels on the JCW look like hubcaps and the car has a somewhat awkward stance. Also the 18″ wheels look surprisingly small on the car.

Do what i’ve done previously, go to larger tires. Gabe has mentioned 18″ x 40 x 225 in the past. That’s a 25″ tall tire. That fills out the wheel well very nicely.
I’ve run 215 x 45 x 17″s on my R series, and also the 205 x 50. The later was close, and i had to go to an adjustable rear sway bar, then there was no problems. That was a nasty looking tire on my r59, let me tell you.

I’m pretty sure it is Volcanic Orange. The lighting might affect the way the color comes out.

It’s a mandatory due to the size of the Brembo calipers.

They could have just made the wheels wider like 18×8.5 or 9 maybe. Really stick those fenders out a bit.
