White Roof Radio 647: Small Means Sh*#ty
Starting off reminding you that we had a really great episode of Black Roof Radio this week, mostly because CHAD IS BACK! Starting off with some Fiat 500 bashing, Todd’s F56 is about the same size as the Roadster, Chad couldn’t fit an ice chest in the truck of a Jetta and I got new tires. Plus some talk about extended warranties and how much better the F56 is over the R50/53/56.

<p>Here….I’ll comment. I guess I’m one of the lucky ones. I still have my R53. 260,000+ kms on it. Very few things replaced. Only wear and tear maintenance. I do have to do the Fonzie move for the passenger side window maybe once a year. Most the problems I have had were related to modifications.</p>
<p>I also recently bought an R56 Cooper for my kid. She loves it and so far, no issues.</p>
<p>Last month I bought a 2018 Countryman Cooper S to replace our old BMW 5 series (family car). So far no issues. However, getting used to where all the controls are is still a bit of a learning process. I just can’t get used to the door lock buttons being on the door, or that stupid electronic parking brake.</p>
<p>My R53 has been so good, that I’ve become an all MINI fleet except for my 35 year old Pontiac Fiero with collector plates on it. I might give that way and get a classic Mini to complete the collection. ; )</p>
