Packing 301 hp and 331 ft lbs of torque, the revised 2020 JCW Clubman is now MINI’s performance pinnacle. With a 0-60 time conservatively clocked in at 4.9 seconds and a electronically limited 155 mph top speed this is a car that could change MINI’s perception. It also looks great at the track.
Powering this new JCW Clubman is a heavily revised 4-cylinder engine with MINI TwinPower Turbo technology. A 8-speed sport automatic is standard along with a revised MINI ALL4 all-wheel system. Coupled with both is a first for an all wheel drive MINI – an integrated mechanical differential lock for the front wheel. In addition MINI has massaged the chassis and suspension stiffening up both. Brakes have been revised as well with 4-piston, fixed- caliper disc brakes on the rear wheels to ensure constantly high braking values even under intensive use.
The exterior of the car has been tweaked as well with new optical 19″ wheels available and updated LED headlights with Matrix high beam function (not available in the US) and LED rear lights in the now familiar Union Jack design. Production begins July 1st with pricing announced around that time.
