We’re just days away from seeing it in the flesh and the first official JCW GP photos have leaked of the worst secret MINI has ever kept – the 2020 JCW GP. Leaked on a German corner of everyone’s least favorite social platform, we now have two photos of the GP sitting next to it’s forebearers – the 2006 R53 GP1 and 2012 R56 GP2.
The 301 hp GP is set to be a game-changer for MINI. We’ve known pricing (rather aggressive at $44,900) and that 301 hp figure. But what we haven’t seen is what it actually looks like. Clad in carbon fiber, a huge wing and plenty of unique trim, the GP takes MINI design into some new areas. Particularly interesting are those incredible carbon fiber fenders that radically change the look of the car.
We’ll have much more in the coming days – including some hands-on surprises. In the meantime have a look and let us know what you think.

While it looks great I will forever be an R53 GP fan.

You need to hire a 5 year old to clean behind the overfenders…

I was thinking about that. A great place for dirt to collect and stay.

Are any final interior shots available anywhere? I don’t want to pre-order one without seeing the interior. Hopefully the interior is not just like every other F56 JCW.

Tomorrow!
