Despite a world full of uncertainty BMW managed a ninth consecutive record year in 2019, with a total of 2,520,307 (+1.2%) BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles delivered worldwide. that means BMW is once agin the world’s leading premium car company (for the 16th straight year). However 2019 MINI sales figures didn’t contribute.
With a focus on profitable sales growth in a highly competitive segment, MINI delivered a total of 346,639 units last year, down 4.1% from 2018. John Cooper Works models were once again especially popular in 2019, as well as the MINI Cooper S E Countryman ALL4 plug-in hybrid, with a total of 16,932 delivered to customers.
However the future looks a bit brighter. More than 90,000 prospective customers have registered interest in the all electric MINI Cooper SE – the most ever for a MINI vehicle.
