Exclusive: 2025 MINI Countryman Colors Confirmed – Including MINI’s First Matte Paint Option

Thanks to one of most reliable sources, we our first look at the U25 2025 MINI Countryman color offerings. Like those on the 2025 F66 MINI Cooper, it’s a mix of old, new and unexpected. And that palette will, for the first time, include a ’frozen” matte paint option seen on BMW’s and other brands.
The 2025 MINI Countryman is a big move for MINI. Yes it’s literally big – we’ll see an additional five inches of length in total. But it’s big because it moves MINI squarely into the small, premium crossover market with both ICE and full electric options. With that MINI will beed to straddle the line between the typical MINI dynamics and appealing to a wide audience in either drivetrain. And that appeal starts with colors – plenty of them safe. With that in mind here are the 2025 MINI Countryman colors we’ve been able to confirm:
We also believe MINI will launch with Midnight Black II (or something similar) and the classic Chili Red as part of the core palette.
MINI will debut the 2024 MINI Countryman (labeled a 2025 in the US) in the second half of 2023 with an all-out model onslaught. Based on our sources, this is what we expect to see in terms of production timing:
U25 / Leipzig, Germany | Start of Production |
U25 ICE Countryman | 11/2023 |
U25 ICE Countryman S | 11/2023* |
U25 ICE Countryman JCW | 11/2023* |
U25 BEV Countryman E | 03/2024 |
U25 BEV Countryman SE | 03/2024* |
U25 BEV Countryman JCW | TBD* |
What do you think? Is MINI playing too safe or do these colors make sense given the Countryman’s position in the line-up?
