The German MINI2 Deutschlandrundfahrt

From May 19th to June 2nd German MINI enthusiasts from the German MINI² Club will do a round trip throughout Germany: The MINI² Deutschlandrundfahrt

The trip is covering over 3,500 km (2,175 miles) and is split into 14 stages, each of them focusing on exploring the twisty side of Germany. Although the tour will mostly be on German roads there will also be stages in Austria and Luxembourg.

Participating in the event will be possible at reasonable costs thanks to the support of MINI Germany. If you want to join us for one of the stages, the fee is 8 EUR, while each additional stage is only 5 EUR. Each participant gets a road book and — depending on the stage — additional features like a breakfast at a participating MINI dealership or a get-together at the end of the day.

We are in the process of putting together a special offer for those of you who want to do the full tour. It will include all overnight stays and we aim to keep the costs well below 500 EUR.

Each stage starts a local MINI dealership in the morning and finishes at another — of course with the appropriate waving of the chequered flag. Longer breaks and shorter stops will be made to ensure it’s going to be fun motoring experience and pictures can be taken at nice photo spots during the day. Locals will guide the tour through larger cities like Berlin and Hamburg to give you a very special and unique sight seeing tour. The tour’s absolute highlight will of course be “Strahlung Pur IV” in Kaarst on May 27th – the biggest MINI event in Germany this year.

Besides the motoring fun the tour will also serve a charity purpose: The “Bärenherz e. V.” foundation is supporting families of fatally ill children and we are going to support them. During the tour we are going to raise money for Bärenherz e.V. and hand over the proceeds at the grand finale of the tour.

Now we would like to invite you to join us and other MINI enthusiasts for one or more stages of the MINI² Deutschlandrundfahrt

The participation form and more detailed information can be found on our website at www.mini2.info or at www.deutschlandrundfahrt.info.

We would be very happy to welcome many participants from other MINI clubs and countries. If you have any questions please feel free to get in touch with the organiser team by e-mailing to deutschlandtour@mini2.info.
