White Roof Radio Live Video

Update: show’s over – thanks for watching! Come check out White Rood Radio as it happens. We’re doing two shows tonight that are being broadcast live courtesy of ustream.tv starting at 10pm EST (GMT-5/9pm CST/8 MST/7 PST). And not only can you see us do the show, but you can ask questions in the comment section of this post. During our second show (generally in the 2nd hour of recording) we’ll be reading those questions and answering them live.

To watch, all you have to do is click the link below to open a dedicated window with all three video feeds. Then just click play on each and that’s it!

  • Nathaniel Salzman

    That’s a pricy poster

  • Jon

Everything sounds good on my side guys, all three decent video and audio.

  • Nathaniel Salzman

Gabe, is that a MINI Motion watch?

  • lavardera

    Here is a question:

I’m hearing stories about reflashing the R56 memory taking like 6-8 hours online. What is with that? Why could it possibly take so long to upload the system?

  • Jpolson

i dont mind the sound, but i am not a perfectionist

  • Stephen

AWD….what do you know about it’s possible implementation in the MCS…?

  • Ketan

DB fudged with it again and he’s gone….

  • http://www.gbmini.net Ian C.

$380! That’s crazy. And no aftermarket choices on the R56 yet either :(

  • the copi

The sound thru ustream sounds good – do you have the ability to record the sound output (on another computer maybe)? I’ve recorded live web conf’s this way before and it works well.

  • the copi

    the show must go on!!

    I could record the sound stream… :O

  • TomB

Just do the show! Who cares if you can record it!!

  • http://www.gbmini.net Ian C.

Todd, can’t you “fall back” to the great portable recorder you used at MTTS?

  • Jpolson

hey you guys going to MitM?

  • Ketan

Hey Todd, can you save a poster for me. I can’t make it to Mini united but you should sell it on motoring file

  • Stephen

    ECHO….

  • http://www.gbmini.net Ian C.

    Echo echo echo echo

  • Drill

    Echo

  • Nathaniel Salzman

    big gabe echo

  • dan from sydney

    lots of echo echo echo

  • http://jwiltshire.org J. Anton

    Echo through Todd now.

  • Ketan

Tell him not to fudge with it if he gets back on

  • Nathaniel Salzman

    Gabe is echoing something awful!

  • http://www.gbmini.net Ian C.

(we’re hearing Gabe twice; maybe I should turn Gabes sound off and hear it through Todd?)

  • dan from sydney

    can hear db.. no visual

  • matt

turn off gabe’s audio and listen through todd only.

  • Nathaniel Salzman

    there’s no video for db

  • Drill

    Sweet. It works.

  • Stephen

    Magnifico!

  • http://www.gbmini.net Ian C.

Yes Todd – it’s working fine with your sound

  • http://www.gbmini.net Ian C.

    Insane money? ;)

  • Jon

Guys on the spy shots, looks like a aerokit, could be the replacment for the but ugly first attempt. What do you guys think.

  • Drill

Aren’t there 4 more speakers with the HiFi? 6 vs 10? If so, where are the extra speakers?

  • Nathaniel Salzman

Nice gabe! That’s going to be totally trick!

  • http://www.myr53.com SB

    db’s back.

  • Nathaniel Salzman

So quiet db. Where you at man?

  • dan from sydney

    visuals on db

  • Drill

I want to go over to the Dark Side, why no Diesel dammit!?!

  • http://www.myr53.com SB

Will this start/stop feature mess with aftermarked ECU upgrades?

  • Nathaniel Salzman

Just seems like a good way to wear out a starter – plus lots of start/stop engine wear (low oil pressure, so forth) – just seems like a bad idea.

  • Ketan

We east cost people do honk, especially at midwesterners

  • Nathaniel Salzman

I read that too db, you can turn off the on/off start.

  • Drill

I also thought I read that the auto stop could be turned off??

  • Drill

Straight from the Motoringfile post… “What is more the Auto Start-Stop Function can be deactivated at any time by the driver at the press of a button.”

  • http://www.myr53.com SB

Can we plug a mouse into the USB and drive by mouse? ;)

  • dan from sydney

is it true there will be timber panel exterior?

  • Drill

It it Brown-brown or like the Terra… ?whatever? leather in the 3 series??

  • Nathaniel Salzman

I would TOTALLY drive a brown Clubman!!!

  • Drill

With the right brown color, the Clubman could be the first “Skid Mark” to LEAVE skid marks :-p
