Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays

It’s the crazy time of the year again. Motoring from family to family for some, staying put and avoiding the weather for others. Around here we will be busy thinking about things that aren’t really MINI related while we spend some time with our friends and family.

To that end, news might be a bit light for the next few days. But, if you are in need of reading material, might we recommend going back through the archives where you will find more than 6 years of stories that have been posted here at MF, including all of our R57, MINI E and event coverage.

Merry christmas everyone! My R53 S tire received a nail in the F/L tire inner wall yesterday ,as gift, prompting a quick replacement earlier this morning to the tune of $216.00. The tire had less than 10K miles in it. In the last 6 months I have lost two practically new runflats to nail inflicted damaged. Talk about bad luck with flats.

Oh and the hard drive on my first gen MacBook seized and died on Xmas eve! Whooo! (J/K) I managed to back up as much data as I could but the drive is kaput! Anyway, the machine is almost 3 years old and I think the time has come for another new MacBook. I’ll let you know what I end up getting.
