so does this mean that the MINI Configurator is now updated with all the 2010 options?

  • bee1000

Special packages come in at $4,500, by the way.

  • robble

yes, mini config was showing 2010 stuff yesterday.

  • bee1000

So I’m building a justa Cooper and spec front fogs, sport seats and DTC. Naturally, the configurator prompts me to buy the Sport Package for $500 more – but it would only add $350 worth of options! (bonnet stripes for $100 and rear spoiler for $250)

  • rosvick

Did anyone else notice the LSD is still available on the Cooper S? Is the mechanical version still going to be offered, despite what I’ve read earlier?

As we had reported – LSD will be available until March builds.

Ah, so apparently I can’t read very well! lol Thanks, Gabe!

It would add $2,100 total in options. The sport package adds 16″ wheels ($750), bonnet stripes ($100), DTC ($500), Foglights ($250), Sport Seats ($250) and Rear Spoiler ($250).

WRONG! CraigE. If you configure a Mini (non S) with non metallic paint with Sports Pkg = $ 21,500, without Sports Pkg; adding DTC, Foglights, Sports Seats, Rear Spoiler, Bonnet Stripes and 16″ wheels = $21,350. You pay less than if you take sports package. Bee1000 is correct. In fact the config shows you save 0 (zero) by picking the sports package.

Also has anyone noticed that if 16″ wheels are chosen, All Season Tires cannot be choose only Performance tires. That’s lame.

My MA told me this morning that the upgraded HK will not be available on the Camden/Mayfair until Dec builds but the configurator says nothing about this.

  • Gary

Nice to know that one can order the Camden without the cheese graters.

  • hardingsan

still no clubman jcw sideskirts? sadface for sure.

Your MA should keep up with his bulletins. H/K started production at the beginning of the month.

    CraigE:

bee1000 is correct. If you configure a Mini (non S) with non-metallic paint and add the sports package with 16″ wheels the cost is: $21,500. If you configure the same Mini (non S and non metallic paint) with all the individual items that are found in the sports package it will cost: $21,350. You actually pay more if you purchase the sports package. That’s crazy.

Has anyone notice too that the All Season tires are not available on the 16 wheels. You can only get the Performance tires. If you want the All Seasons, you’ve got to get the 15″ Wheels. Why? Makes no sense.

  • Hoover

@ Ralph & bee1000: It looks like the configurator has a glitch, and is not including the 16″ wheels.

    To hardingsan:

You can order the JCW aero kit on Clubman. It’s not on the site but it’s available…

I would love to get my hands on a Camden S with LSD and the JCW tuning kit. I think the Mission Control could be fun, but I’m glad there is an off button. Does anyone think these will hold value better b/c of the “Camden” package?
