With Summer now in full swing and the end of June looming, it’s time to recognize the photographers who provided us with some fantastic imagery during the month of May. The beautiful Spring weather here in the US has given us all some excuses to get out to motor a bit and fortunately many of you are carrying your cameras along!
This fourth installment of the MotoringFile Photo Contest saw an even gross of eligible images from the MotoringFile Flickr group with subjects ranging from cute couples and high-mileage MINIs to bouts of obsessive detailing and mean curves. One of the reasons it takes us so long to get through all these wonderful shots is that we keep getting sidetracked looking at more cool photos!

Bet you thought we forgot about you, didn’t you? Your humble photo contest editor was caught slacking this month; his only excuse is that the weather was really nice and he was out motoring!
This is the third installment of the MotoringFile Photo Contest, for April 2007. April was a pretty quiet month as far as the MotoringFile Flickr group went, with a shade under 60 photos posted. As always, however, there were still enough excellent pics posted that choosing a handful to feature on the site wasn’t easy.

We’re back with the second installment of the MotoringFile Photo Contest, this time for March. Last month saw over 160 photos from our 260 group members, which is slightly fewer than last month, yet it was somehow harder to choose just a handful! (And, yes, that’s our excuse for not getting the picks made until this late into April….) The creativity, skill and sheer luck continue to leave your intrepid judges just a little bit breathless.

Last month we announced the debut of the MotoringFile Photo Contest, and now we’re happy to bring you the results! We had a great month, with 200 photos posted to the group by our nearly 250 members. We saw a huge number of truly fantastic images with everything from dinosaurs and airplanes to deserts and blizzards. Unfortunately, we had to pick just a handful.
