Apparently MINI has found it necessary to update it's ordering guide that it sent out to US dealers a few weeks ago. Here's a PDF that was delivered out yesterday to MINI dealers that clears the air on a couple questions regarding 2005 options (from foolsdragon):

So it appears confirmed once and for all that there will not be a two spoke steering wheel. What a disappointment.

I just ordered a 2005, and I was told it was coming with the two spoke multi-function. Guess I was told wrong. The two spoke looks and feels sooo much nicer. I would have to say, of all the great changes this year… this one takes a step in the wrong direction.

I don't know. I've got to say the two spoke has always been something that I would have done different. I was so excited to see the 3 come out. With so may different options available, I am surprised that MINI did away with the 2 altogether though. I wonder if it had something to do with the load on production. Something had to give somewhere.

I think the switch to a three spoke was a BMW design switch. All other BMW's have a three spoke. I really like the look of the 3 spoke on the BMW's but not how it was implemented on the Mini. It looks to much like a play wheel for a Playstation game console (especially with the multi function buttons). I guess ultimately it goes with the Mini theme of being athletic but playful. I would have also like to see the three spoke a little more thicker. I love thick wheels.

I want to know if we can fit the anthracite headliner in previous year MINIs?

Sad to see he demise of the 2 spoke steering wheel,,,hope they will bring it back.
Glad to see that they did not discontinue the Lapis Blue leather.

Yea!, I want Anthracite headliner stuff!!!
