Big potholes and a Mini = not good.
I had $2700 worth of damage to my ’04 with S-lites after hitting a gaping pothole out of nowhere on the Texas Interstate. Luckily my deductible is only $500…
First JCW GP accident? That’s a distinguishing title! If it were me, I’d be hugging it and petting it and telling it that “it’s gonna be okay…”!
Glad to hear it was only plastic involved and not anything more serious.
I’m glad it wasn’t any worse and I hope that is it for the rest of the tour.
In thing this might be the most noticed accident in the world… I thank god to not be him.
Man, you know if there is body damage….there is rim damage! I hit a pothole with my JCW rims and after replacing Dunlops this past week realize that there is a slight rim bend. I wonder what those limited edition GP rims cost! It would probally pay to have an extra rim stored.
Sorry to hear about the pot hole incident. Hope everything is minor, I hope the rest of the event goes smoothly.
Any mushrooming at the strut towers?
That must have been some pothole to have the airdam hit the top of the pothole on the farside. Dang!
Maybe this is why they didn’t import them into Canada.
. . .LISTEN to the interview! It sounds like, other than some cosmetic damage, the car is fine.
Oh dear what a nightmare! The potholes on UK roads are so bad that the government has purchased special vehicles from the military to scan the streets detecting the worst ones! This all came about after numerous city councils were sued by sports car owned for damage to their alloys! The final straw was one when council had to shell out £7,500 for damage to a Lambo’s under-carriage!
