Recently we were approached with Klaus Römer, a business student at Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz, Germany with an idea for a survey. As part of his dissertation, Klaus asked if we’d be interested in hosting a survey that will help in learning what aspects of relationships in the blogosphere are most important for the our readers. The success of his dissertation depends to a large extent on this survey.
So in an effort to help Klaus and MotoringFile (we’ll also be getting a peek at the results) we’d like to ask our readers to spare a few minutes and complete the survey. You can find it below:
[ Blogs in the automotive industry: Opinion survey ] English Version
[ Umfrage zum Thema Weblogs im Automobilbereich ] German Version
Is there a recognized difference between a blog and a forum? ie, does NAM qualify as a blog? Or only sites like MF??

NAM is a forums based site. In this case, MF would be considered a blog.
I’m glad you got involved in this Gabe – Klaus had approached me / GPMINI but I said to him that MotoringFile was a much better fit … seems you and he agreed 🙂
It is “peek”, not “peak”……
This survey is much too long with questions overlapping one another. I stopped half way through.
. . . shoulda stuck with it JP – there’s a nice prize at the end! 😉
Sheesh that was long and redundant. Glad to help, but probably would have been better with a more clear English translation.
I agree, I’m not a senior citizen but I’m not sure about who in that demographic identifies themselves as a “pensioner.” A slightly more culturally neutral translation would’ve been nice.
Since we don’t know his variables in his study. We don’t really know if the overlapping questions are anything more than just an inconvenience. There may be something in way that the questions overlap that he is studying to see our attitudes about blogs.
I’m not a marketing PhD candidate for sure, but I don’t doubt there’s a method to the madness.
