A bit of tech talk before going into our thoughts about the outcome of Street Tuner Challenge. That brings us to a question; Is it possible to tune an R56 to the same levels that you can an R53? Quite a bit of discussion ensues and we do go a bit long.
Then a reminder about Gabe going on the BMW Press Junket. Click here to leave a question for Gabe to think about as he drives the Clubman and 1 Series. Don’t bother with the questions about the Rolls Royce since he probably won’t get to drive one.
Watch for interviews coming up before AMVIV. I’m asking everyone now and hopefully we can get them in the show soon.

Great show, lots of nostril whistle this time, though. 🙂
yea, that was all me not backin’ away from the mic. Sorry ’bout that.
Db – orginator of the rock and roll nostril whistle. ; )
We like that nostril whistle – its more visceral you know..
You guys need to do more snoring, like the Click and Clack Tappet brothers…
No.
No we don’t.
I really like the nostril hair sound action! Gives it an NPR feeling (does that makes it more legit? Who knows!!!)
But let me get back to the topic at hand. I agree with you guys, how much power do you really need? Don’t get me wrong I love to upgrade my ride but I think I am past the point of needing to add so much power that it gets scary to drive.
I don’t love all the JCW equipment but I think that if their products become of a higher quality I don’t see any real need to go after market for the average driver who has a need to do some simple mods to their already lovely ride.
