Software Engineer Matt Thorne is prepping his industrial robot scribblybot for a special exhibition at BMW Plant Oxford on September 12th. Between the hours of 10 AM and 4 PM, all messages sent to the robot’s Twitter account (@scribblybot) will be retweeted on the robot’s page at the same time they will be robotically jotted on a whiteboard in front of visitors to the MINI factory.

Fun fact (if you’re a geek)… You can draw anything on a plotter using (repeating) just 3 commands: PenUp, PenDown, MoveTo(X, Y)

This is far more complicated than a plotter however. The geek in me approves. The utilitarian in me is scratching his head. ;)

I think this plays to the fun side of MINI; who else would do this?

sweet robotic tweets

I think it will tweak its overworked and underpaid!

Fun none the less.

Sorry tweet, dang iphone.

Is the time zome Oxford time for North American?
