<p>Alan hit the nail on the head. The class they are entering will determine what the vehicle will look like. It will likely have some sort of body work around the back to make it appear more MINI-esque. Most modified Dakar vehicles look like this under the skin. I’m certain MINI is entering as a modified since the modified classes get most of the media coverage.</p>

<p>This Dakar MINI was a bit of a surprise at the last minute. I can’t wait until the race starts January 2nd!
