I'm not going to bury the lead here. After nearly nine years of enthusiastic ownership, the time has come to sell my 2006 MINI Cooper S. The journey that brought me here, and what it means going forward is something I wanted to share with MotoringFile readers, as I'm sure other MINI enthusiasts have wrestled with this difficult decision as well.

Worldwide MINI Sales See Best July Ever in 2014

Supply of the new MINI Hatch, the F56, seems to have finally caught up with pent-up worldwide demand. BMW Group is reporting July 2014 as the best July in MINI sales history. Overall sales are up +3.2% and sales of the MINI Hatch itself are up 22.3% over July of last year, which side note, was the best July previously on record.

Auto Express Names the F56 MINI 2014 Car of the Year

With the new generation MINI, the F56, fully out in the market, more and more publications are getting their hands on the car and weighing in on how they think it compares to the models that came before it. UK car mag <em>Auto Express</em> has named the F56 it's 2014 New Car of the Year.
