<p>I’m a function dictates form kind of guy. When they went to a front mount IC at the base of the radiator, they should have ditched the scoop. Heck, it’s just the same level of function as the headlight stickers on Nascar cars.</p>
<p>I agree with Matt completely. The scoop on the 2nd Gen Ses is just silly. I still have an R53, but if I were to get a newer S (or JCW), I would look into the possibility of retrofitting a Cooper bonnet/hood onto it.</p>
