3,000 Brand New BMWs & Minis Have Been Rotting in Canada for 3 Years

You may remember a few years back that there was a massive recall in Canada involving risks relating to the exposure of certain vehicles to excessive standing water or salt for an extended period of time. Clearly not good things for motor vehicles.

As it turns out those vehicles have been deemed too dangerous to fix and sell. Thus what you see above is a snap-shot of almost 3,000 vehicles that have been sitting and rotting in a field in Canada. Everything from MINIs to M6s is slowly (and sadly) rotting away.

We’ll echo what Jalopnik suggests – how about a recover these cars for some BMW and MINI spec racing? BMW and MINI – lets make it happen!
