While the 2021 JCW Countryman LCI doesn’t feature as much styling changes as the Cooper or Cooper S, it does benefit from a host of upgrades inside and out. Most noticeable are the new LED headlights and Union Jack taillights that subtly but positively change the look of the car. Combined with black trim and the overall aesthetic of the JCW Countryman, it helps to add a bit more attitude to an already aggressive package.

While they might appear subtle at first, one of our favorite additions are the new LED headlights. Like the F56 and F54, the new F60 headlights have a continuous band of light that takes on the function of both daytime driving light and turn indicator. The turning light included in the functional range of the LED headlights provides clear illumination of the side areas of the road when turning or changing lanes.

Inside the 2021 JCW Countryman has finally added the new all digital gauge cluster as an option. There are also updates to the center stack with a new Piano Black high gloss finish as standard. Optional is Piano black trim and a Chili red stripe that not so subtly marks the car as a JCW.

An optional 5″ digital instrument display is available for the new MINI JCW Countryman. Similar to the one from the GP and the Cooper SE, the digital instrument display gives drivers a more clear view of vehicle data and offers more customizations options.

Unchanged in all of this is the recently introduced 306 hp twin scroll four cylinder engine and 8 speed automatic. If you want to hear about our experiences with the 2020 version check out review here.

The 2021 JCW Countryman is available to order now with first deliveries beginning this summer.
