A Closer Look a the MINI Convertible Resolute Edition (w/Gallery)
Of all the special editions that MINI dropped this winter , none look better to our eyes than the MINI Resolute Edition for the the F55, F56 and F57. Starting with Rebel Green (previously exclusive to JCWs) the Resolute Edition takes traditional MINI cues and reimagines them with bronze trim, unique bonnet stripes and wheels. So we thought we’d take a closer look at perhaps the best of the three – the F57 MINI Convertible Resolute Edition.
Mechanically identical to normal MINI models, the MINI Resolute Edition brings a more modern aesthetic to the typical color and trim special editions we’ve seen in the past while nodding to vintage MINIs. Looking a lot like the gorgeous (and ultra rare) special edition WC50, the Resolute Edition features the classic look of dark green and off-white.
The stripes are actually made up of five individual stripes and reflect light. Coupled with the bronze and black wheels the Resolute Edition is nothing if not striking.
Inside things are no less interesting with sport seats finished in Black Pearl / Light Chequered fabric/leatherette with black trim. Parallel lines in a light shade of gold form a pattern on the black background of the surfaces. The lightning package provide targeted interior illumination, as well as with the Ambient Light, which also includes a laser-engraved ring for the central instrument, light piping in the doors and cockpit area as well as illuminated door handles and door entry areas.
The 2023 MINI Convertible Resolute Edition Launch
The MINI Resolute Edition will be available in Cooper S 2 door, 4 door and convertible forms. Production began this March and we should see the F57 Resolute Edition hit dealers in mid-April in the US market.
