Can someone tell me when the French got involved with the intro design/choreography?

Given that the DJ/designers appear to be German or Dutch, let me clarify. I meant French, as in Albertville Olympic Opening Ceremonies, wierd.

Maybe they should have let Top Gear launch a Clubman off of the Lillehammer ski jump. They’ve done it once before.
