Here’s a quick wrap-up of what’s on the schedule for this weekend around the US:
First off there’s MINIs on Top. MOT takes place this Saturday on top of Mt. Washington. Expect great times and amazing views. To get an idea of what it’s all about, check out the videos on the MOT website. Of course if you haven’t already registered, it looks like you’re out of luck for this year’s event.
Then of course there’s the Paramount Kings Island Italian Job Coaster event this weekend as well. You can find out more here. Like MOT, this also looks to be sold out.
Finally F1 comes to the US and MINI owners from all over the US are making the pilgrimage to Indianapolis. For MINI owners there will be quite a few events beyond the actual racing. MINIICCI and STLMINI have teamed up to put on a number of activities throughout the weekend. Beyond that there will also be the usual Car Coral which allows car club members to park within the track itself and show off their hardware.
If all goes right I should be driving down (along with a 3-4 MINIs) in a freshly repaired black MCS early Saturday morning.
