MINI UK Press Release: The eagerly awaited unveiling of the new MINI One and MINI Cooper D takes place this week in Geneva. Both cars offer a dynamic drive and excellent fuel economy, with the latter being the most frugal and environmentally friendly MINI produced to date. The MINI One will cost £11,595 on the road, and the MINI Cooper D will be £14,190. Both models will be on sale from 14 April 2007.
MINI Convertible Sidewalk completes MINI’s presence at the Geneva show. The new Sidewalk model is on sale from 14 April 2007, and offers a host of exclusive and additional options available on the One, Cooper and Cooper S.
It includes a choice of four paintwork colours, Malt Brown English Leather upholstery, 17†Night Spoke light alloy wheels, bi-colour leather steering wheel and gear knob and special ‘Sidewalk’ interior trim, floor mats, badges and door inserts. On the road prices are as follows:
* MINI One Sidewalk: £16,910
* MINI Cooper Sidewalk: £17,960
* MINI Cooper S Sidewalk: £20,235
Should a customer wish to specify these options on any other MINI Convertible, the cost of the extra kit would be approximately 25 per cent higher than if purchased as part of a standard package on the Sidewalk edition.
me wants the torquey MINI Cooper D in the States! i wonder how it would do out on the AutoX course? anyone have experience running a diesel car in AutoX? do the extra torques help at all; maybe on smaller, tighter courses?
All the sidewalk editions are R52?
Yes, yes, yes! I want the Cooper D! Should
do well on the autocross torque, but
may need the LSD to handle all that torque.
There’s a guy that works with me that has a European MINI One D. Mmmm, I might put a note on his car if he’s willing to part with it.
a bit of topic…. but which wheels are on these?
Flamespokes?
