For all those looking to get a Cooper “S” Clubman in that lovely shade of brown known as Hot Chocolate, you’ll be sorely disappointed to learn that it will only be available as a Cooper. So if you’re looking for a brown MCScm (as we’re now calling it) you’ll need to drive down lots of dirt roads.
Oooo!!! I don’t get it! What’s the rationale for having colors exclusively on the less exclusive model? Why is brown considered distasteful for an S? Having orange only on the roadster made sense in that it was in some ways a more premium car. But putting Oxygen Blue, Nightfire Red, and Hot Chocolate only on the cheaper cars seems so frustrating. I don’t want the crazy vivid colors on my car, I want it to be subtle looking, belying the sporty potential.
Oh well, that automatically discards either Hot Chocolate or NightFire Red Metallic as possible color choices for our upcoming Clubman S. Anyone know if NightFire Red will be kept away from the Clubman S?

I know a certain UPS driver who might want one…or perhaps, that particular shade of brown would make him feel like he’s still at work!!

Think about how much fun you would have driving this is a your work car?
It’s obvious, they want us to own more than one MINI. I don’t understand the split/mixed MINI palettes but am hoping OB will still be available in ’09 for the MC and/or the MCcm.

Hopefully, this ushers-in another option for the MCScm. I was considering Hot Chocolate too. Only marshmellows left…
I was planning on getting a cooper Clubman anyway, but yeah, that’s frustrating.

Aren’t we due for an official press release already on the CM’s?

On another note: an orange roadster really would be something!

I see MCScm, but I read MC Scum.

so do you think there will be a MCSCMJCW ? lol
Why limit any option to any model unless it’s mechanically impossible to add to other models? Makes no sense to me.
so the hot chocolate will be available in the Mini Cooper S for 08??????
still love hot chocolate !!!
