We know you are guys are dying to get it on this as soon as possible. So does MINI USA. This morning, registration for MTTS has opened at the MTTS Registration Page. It’s pretty simple and should only take about 15 minutes of your time and $25 from your wallet.
All of the routes have been pre-run and the final list of hotels and other details are still being hammered out. We can expect that information and more details to come the first week of June.

Registered like 3 hours ago!! You guys were a little late on this one, lol.
I just wish they had all the other details earlier to give everyone time to plan ahead.

Just to point out, this is quite an undertaking because there are 20+ cities involved in this cross country adventure and thousands of MINI owners and enthusiasts to try and please. It’s taking time to get all the ducks in rows but more info is coming the first week of June. That will still allow more than two months planning for everyone so hang in there.

Not sure I will be able to make this one but I am hoping that I can! It would be great to see MANY iPad / iPhone owners on the MINI Link app while this is going on, in the hands of a co-pilot of course!

2006 was a great time Chicago to St. Louis to Indy! I skipped 2008 all together so it would be cool to do this one.

Yea, It was up this morning. I posted on NAM about it.

Twitter is being used as a Main update along with region Twitters.

Facebook is being used, but twitter will be a way to use the Iphone via the twitter app. I have my iphone ready with all apps and of course it will be nice to see 500 MINI’s on the MINI LINK app at the same location. They will all overlap….lol

I look forward to joining part of this – I wish I could do the whole thing but unfortunately not. :(

One bit that is ambiguous though – the main MINIUSA MTTS info page (MINIUSA.COM / Play / go_a_motoring / states-m) seems to suggest that the “MINI-cross” is only in Denver, yet the registration page itself (MINI TAKES THE STATES 2010) makes it sound like the MINIcross is in each of the launch cities too, via this quite definitive statement:

MINIcross will be held in Chicago, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Denver.

I hope the latter is true (sounds like it)… perhaps the main page just needs to be updated.

Do you think MINI USA would allow us to borrow a car and do thewhole trip ? Is Jim still in charge?, should I e-mail him and ask?
My CV says I know a whole lot about MINI, and we’ll pay for our own air fares from the UK?
So many questions, Too many questions?
