MINI USA Makes the $19,750 Cooper Oxford Edition Available to Everyone

It’s been a long time since there was a MINI Cooper Under $20,000. However MINI USA is getting aggressive in trying to offer lower cost models and has extended the availability of the $19,750 Cooper Oxford Edition to anyone in the US.
MINI USA started off by only offering the car to college students and Active Duty Members of any branch of the U.S. Military, as well as recently retired or honorably discharged members (within a 12-months). Now those requirements hav been waived for what MINI is calling a “limited time”.
This is not a bare-bones MINI. Standard equipment includes the MINI Connected Infotainment System, enhanced Bluetooth, rear-view camera, park distance control and MINI Teleservices. The MINI Oxford Edition also comes with upgraded 17” wheels in silver or black, automatic or manual transmission, dual-pane panoramic moonroof, heated seats, and a choice of six exterior body colors.
The MINI Oxford Edition continues to remain available to eligible current full- or part-time students of any two- or four-year accredited college or university, recent college graduates who are within 12 months of their graduation, as well as students enrolled in post-bachelor’s degree programs, such as graduate school, law school, or medical school.
The MINI Oxford Edition is currently available at dealerships across the U.S.

This is a great deal! If I didn’t want the MINI EV so much I would jump on this!
That is very good thinking on the part of MINI USA, and a very good deal! If I did not already have a 2016 Cooper S, I would be headed for the dealership!
Yeah that’s a crazy deal … 2003 pricing … I don’t see this on MINIUSA.com website however. Is it only for those in the know?
