MotoringFile sponsor MotoringBadges (the original!) will be offering two different magnetic badges in conjunction to MTTS. Both will be available from Todd, myself and DB throughout the trip. The badge pictured above is the standard version and will sell for only $7 a badge. Our second badge will be a very limited edition design that will be individually numbered and packaged for $10. Supplies will be very limited (20 for each starting city). We expect them to go very fast.

For those who are new to the MotoringBadge scene, the badges are magnetic and designed to be used with MINI’s official grille badge holder or several 3rd party holders. They are made from high-quality materials featuring a glossy finish with a UV clear coat that resists fading in the sun. You can get a single badge for $7.50 and a set of six for only $37. And for those who have no more room on their grilles we also offer high-quality decals of each badge priced at $4.50.

A few years ago we had this little idea at MF. Why not take MINI’s OEM badge holder and make round magnetic badges that fit it. They could be cheap and easily swapped out plus they play well to the classic Mini heritage of showing off different affiliation.
We then worked on the design and production of the badges until we created something that was fade-proof, Nurburgring proof and just about everything else proof. And then we worked on finding an audience. With the help of MotoringFile and Whiteroofradio we’ve now sold over 10,000 badges to date in every one of the 50 states in the US (plus Puerto Rico) and throughout the world. Specifically we’ve sold badges in the following countries 36:

Today we’re releasing the first in a series of new MotoringBadges for 2009 and it’s all about MINI’s 50th Anniversary. These will be limited edition badges only available through the end of 2009.
Look for new designs and color variations on what you see above. And if you order by Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, your order will ship out by Dec. 20th and arrive at most USA destinations by Christmas. No guarantees, of course as delivery is at the mercy of the USPS but in general, most all orders will arrive by 12/24.

Today we’re releasing the first in a series of new MotoringBadge’s for 2008. However unlike some recent badges we’ve released lately, this new set has something for all MINIs – even those early adopting Clubman owners. As some of you may know for the recent US Clubman launch, MINI USA has given each of the three models unique names aimed at MINI enthusiasts:
- ZIG = the coupe
- ZAG = the convertible
- ZUG = the new Clubman
We think they capture the spirit of owners and of the car itself. So we’ve taken the idea and run with it for six new magnetic badges and stickers.

It’s been almost eight months since our last updates to the magnetic badge/sticker collection over at MotoringBadges.com. With over 100 available, we thought we could take a bit of a break while people explore the already large selection. However with the holiday season here and 2008 fast approaching, we felt it was finally time to release a new set of badges.
The first set – “Push my Sport Button” – is meant for the R56 owners who either want to be a little coy or really like to go fast. The second – ” Stop Staring at my Boot” – could easily be for any MINI. However we created it with the Clubman in mind. Finally “Ask me About my Pulley” is based on a very popular limited edition MotoringFile Tshirt that is obviously meant for R53 owners.

We’ve got quick update on MotoringBadge availability. First off yes, both are MINI United and MINIs on the Dragon badges for 2007 are back in stock! As expected, our production of MINIs on the Dragon 2007 badges sold out quickly at last month’s MOTD leading to bidding wars and offers of “interesting” trades. However you can now pick them up at the always low price of $7.50 right here.
