We’re you one of the unfortunate that was not able to get a GP? Remote control car maker Carisma has you covered.
These pictures were snapped by MF reader Avitor at this years iHobby Expo in Chicago.
>I was at the iHobby Expo in Chicago this past weekend and while I was there snapped a few of shots of a new 1/14 scale R/C MINI Cooper S JCW GP from Carisma RC. It looks fantastic and will come fully assembled and ready to run, along with batteries and charger. It’s not front wheel drive like the 1/10th scale Tamiyas, but it’s focused more on realistic appearance, where the latter is focused on realistic handling.
According to Carisma’s site, they are currently out of stock but should have them in time for Christmas.

That’s not a true GP, it has xenons.
It’s also rear-drive and has an electric motor. But the rest is pretty accurate I think.
it could be my eyes playing tricks on me, but is that a white top?
The outer ring around the hood scoop also looks white. So either it is indeed white, or its the camera playing tricks on us. It does look a lot like the white roof of the red model, though. I’d say that’s a bigger miss then the xenon headlights.
Wait it is only 13.14 inches by 5.74 inches! It is a Fake! I thought 100 bucks for a GP was too good to be true! Maaaan!
Sure looks like a white roof in the detail picture gallery on the horizonhobby.com site.
