MINI’s latest flavor of viral web marketing, the MINI Preventerizer is now live. Check it out the site and the faux infomercial below and uh… go preventerizer.
Poke around MINI Malaysia’s site a bit more and you will find things like Def MINI Records. Looks like you don’t have to be amoung the largest of MINI markets to have a neat MINI site. It just takes imagination and a bit of a sense of humor.
Defmini records was actually developed elsewhere in the world and repurposed several times over the past year. You’ll see the original launch on MF by using the search above.
Funny stuff indeed! But, still hard to beat a good radar detector – nearly had my MINI melted down about four separate zappings yesterday coming up the east coast on I-95.
In a way it saddens me that MINI-ownership, fun, and speeding are so closely linked in a MINI ad. It’s funny, yes…but then again it’s not. Two thumbs down from me.
Malaysia??? I guess ticket-hungry cops are universal.
Funny site though.
That is great!

I don’t think ever in automotive history has marketing played such an important part in improving the performance of a car.
Wouldn’t that be an in-faux-mercial?
(sorry)
…wow. I COULD have used this,last night…
Oh well, the price you pay for doing 100mph,on I-285,at night. At least the Cop ask me if it was okay to sit in my MINI to see if she would like it…
…she did. And she STILL wrote me out the ticket, lol.
A speedometer printout…sure beats blurring video! why didn’t I think of that? We need an R53 verison.
What I want to know is if those links are real websites too. If so, How do they find such bizare things to link to?

Waaa….if a funny Mini gag compels someone to speed then I have a bridge to sell them. Two thumbs up!
