Knauz MINI is offering MotoringFile readers special pricing on remaining '03 and '04 JCW kits that they currently have in stock. The retail price for these kits is $4500 plus 11 hours of labor for installation. This is typically is around $1100-$1500 depending on the dealer. Knauz is offering these kits to MotoringFile readers for only $4500 installed.

I'm out in California, so there's no way for me to take advantage of this offer. Are they offering any discount on just the kit itself, without installation?

No – the kit is the same price… it's essentially free installation. It's a great deal but the rub is that you have to get to Chicago to take advantage of it.

I believe the JCW is only for the Cooper S in the United States.

UK MINIs have a JCW, but that was never offered here.

Actually the Cooper kit is available in the US as of last spring. However there is no word on '05 specs.
