ow…..
ReplyAnother addicting game brought to you by the guys at MINIUSA.com. You can check it out via this direct link.
It runs soooo slowly on my computer, and I don't have an old, slow computer by any means… Like most flash things is there a way to adjust the quality to make it go faster?
ReplyOkay I have to admit it… I have a secret weapon :)
Actually I had that score with a jump to go when I accidently jumped as I was running. I can't believe I didn't break 70!
ReplyI did that twice at the starting line before I realized what I had done! I never have been very good at video games. Well… not entirely true. I used to rock at Moon Patrol on my old Atari 2600.

ReplyThis Flash game is giving me a wave of nostalgia. I now have the urge to play Olympic Decathlon on my Apple II! (The shot put — with paddles — is still harder than getting into the MINI.)
ReplyCrap. How am I supposed to get any work done today now? You should really release news of something like this in the evening or over the weekend. :o) hehe.
ReplyIs it just me, or is anyone else out there getting a kick out of watching the guy run/jump into the back of the MINI? :)
Replyi'm having fun watching him tumble over the car and land on the street….
anyone else see whats going on in the windows as you run by?
ReplyMan, I suck at this game… I only managed to get in the car once so far! I'm starting to get sore just watching him WACK the pavement each time.
ReplyOn both my 400mhz PowerBook G4 and my 500mhz PowerBook G4 Cube it's so slow as to be unplayable. If you get him running too close to top speed (to the right of the last bar, basically), the game freezes and you have to force quit the containing application. I've tried Safari, OmniWeb, and the standalone Flash player with the same results.
It's a nice idea for a game, but it just reinforces my overall complaint about the site. Somebody at MINIUSA needs to learn that Flash sends people away from sites that don't work. And opening extra windows is bad UI design, too.
ReplyI have a 4 year old 850mhz HP Pavilion witha cable modem and the game runs fine. Now, if could get the guy to run and jump and land in the MINI more often!
ReplyAlthough I can see where fedward's frustration stems from, the flash problems are not just with MINIUSA.COM. All flash sites run clunky and slow on my G4 Dual 800. Macromedia needs to learn to support Apples chipsets. You have to admit that the guys at MINIUSA are certainly turning out a quality product. Though I was reading that they contract most of their work out to India.
ReplyI fixed my problem with it being slow. With Mozilla, it was completely unplayable, but with Internet Explorer it runs fine.
Reply“Though I was reading that they contract most of their work out to India.”
Really, I was reading they contract 6-7 year olds in China to do all the flash work. Small hands – miniature site, made sense to me.
ReplySo is Mini recommending us to jump into our car? If so I'm in trouble since I seem to hurt myself 95% of the time playing this game.
