It's been quite a wait but the original Italian Job is finally coming to the US in DVD format. It will be released October 7th with a suggested retail price of $19.99. Expect to see it at most places for around $15 however. For all those people who haven't seen the film or couldn't get a hold of an old VHS copy here's your chance.
Also of note the 2003 version of the Italian Job will be bowing the same day. It's retail price will be at $29.99 but probably available for around $23 if you look a bit.
Of course Amazon.com is offering a gift set of both films. I'm not sure if the packaging is any different from the two films individually but it is a decent price at $32.
