(Originally posted 12/18/03) Just in time for the holidays MINIUSA is highlighting some great ways to (A) get together with other MINI owners and (B) help out your local community.
And the coolest part… they're utilizing a photo that was taken by a Chicago MINI Motoring Club member this past spring and digitally enhanced by your's truly. You can check out a larger version here. In fact you can even download this image as a desktop wallpaper in the wallpaper section of this site in a variety of sizes. And if you still can't get enough you can see the entire set of photos from this even here (keep in mind this was suppose to a “spring” event!)
But before you do all that check out MINIUSA's make a different site and see how you or your MINI club can help in your area.

…way to go Gabe…you keep this up,you'll be able to fire off a nasty e-mail to your former employers in no time flat. By the way,to Gabe and Adam: we at http://www.atlantamini.net had a Toys For Tots Drive a little over a week ago. It was a blast. Note:when you go to the site click the Christmas/T.F.T. section for photos. I'm the tall one will the Samuel L Jackson Black Kango,Gabe. Happy Holidays,to all. Peace.

Oops…sorry,Gabe and anybody else…it's http://www.minis.net. Oh,hell…just click the,”Homepage” button above. Happy Holidays.

Sheez…www.atlantaminis.net. I need to stop typing and drinking this(burp)great eggnog…(hick)

there ya go :)

Congrats, Gabe! MINI is quite happy to use our piccies, eh? 😉 I'm a little flattered, myself, that someone at MINI felt one of my shots merited inclusion in an essential publication of theirs. I can't remember another manufacturer going to such lengths to include the owners in the equation, which seems to be a MINI hallmark.

MINIs doing good deeds is great theme for the Holidays, as well. Went on the Toys for Tots run to Camp Pendleton weekend before last, and we had 60-odd MINIs with lottsa toys, many more than they expected. The Marines there have been hit hard, with a lot of casualties of late, so the guys on the ground need us to look out for the families when they're overseas. Hoping for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year for all!!

I love this picture! It makes me remember how much fun I had when Cela was delivered. There she is, all Electric Blue (right of center), and less than a week old at the time.

That was a fun drive to the Jelly Belly factory and then the drive up burger joint. We all froze our tails off standing around in the snow and talking MINI stuff.
