Here's yet more news that's sure to make the technophiles out there giddy. This is from Anthony (ANTSMINI):
I had the chance to speak with the MINI Product manager at Limerock yesterday and he confirmed to me, that bluetooth will be intergrated into the MINI very soon. He said that the module will be in that little bump in the headliner towards the back of the car ( I thought that was for the alarm). Anyway he said the kit will be retrofittable and that it will allow you to connect your cell phone via bluetooth to the car and use the MFSW buttons to control the phone. He said they already have test cars with the module installed and that we should see it within the next few months.
Wow. First the news that I'll be able to use my iPod and interface it through the MFSW – now comes the news I could use my beloved T616 intregrated into the MINI. I suppose next MINI will offer an optional Wifi hub in the dash.
