You can check out the entire list and read more here. Is it just me or does the MINI seem to rack up these awards every 3 months or so?

Excellent. yet another confirmation of the solid resale vales of these cars. Our 2002 Cooper CVT (Plain Jane model with just 1 option, MFSW) sold new for $18,500 13 months ago and if we were to sell it today we could expect to get at least $17K on a private sale. The car has 15K miles and it is in pristine condition, original factory windshield and all.

So losing only $1500 in 13 months of service is pretty amazing considering that the average new car depreciates 30% to 40% during its fist year on the road.

thanks for the 411….
this is more proof for my claims adjuster! keep em' coming! :)

Yes, it's pretty amazing. Some dealers are selling used minis for almost the same price as brand new ones. I was just reading a thread about this on MCO yesterday…
