In yet more news from this month's MINI International (yes you'll probably want to subscribe) MINI will begin offering dealer installed two-toned leather seats. It's not clear if this will be available in the US but they should be out soon in the rest of the world. Here's the text from the magazine:
…Particularly eye-catching is the typical MINI two-tone leather upholstery. Seats in this design variant are available in Red, Blue, Green, Grey, White, Yellow, Brown or beige in combination with Black.
Now before we all run out to the dealers with cash in hand the photos that were shown in the mag clearly were that of the standard seats and not the incredibly useful sport seats. It's unclear if they are available in both versions or just the standard one but it seemed to imply the latter.

<p>New seat colors – Great news as far as I am concerned. I have considered the black only option (or blue/black for Indi blue) to be very limited in the MCS. I have been hoping for some options and now may hold off on ordering my dream car until next year when I presume the increased number of choices will be available. Thanks for the update.</p>
