I spent some time with a friendly BMW/MINI parts manager recently who had some interesting news on the iPod connector for BMWs and MINIs. First off the BMW connectors (apparently there are two different connectors) have 900 and 1700 on backorder respectively. He went on to say, according to people he's spoken with at BMW, the MINI version of the connector will be delayed due to this unprecedented demand. Initially it was to be released this September. Hopefully we'll be able to bring you more info on exact release dates soon.
